Sails & Rigging
A double spreader Sounds Spars mast is keel stepped and has Navtec SS rod rigging; she has fore and aft lowers and permenant backstay with a Navtec hydraullic adjuster. Her boom vang is a Hall Quickvang. The full battened mainsail is carried by Antal stainless roller bearing cars on a mast track and has the Dutchman sail handling system. She has two spinnaker/reaching poles stored on deck topping lifts cars and foreguys.All halyards are led aft to the cockpit through Antal sheet stoppers on the cabin top. These are led to an Antal #224 electric self-tailing halyard winch. Her staysail winch is a self tailing Antal #224. Her sheet winches are a pair of Antal #226 and #225 electric electric self tailers. She has a Harken roller furling headsail.Sails include: 150% North 3DL Genoa North .75 TRi-radial spinaker 128% North roller furling working head sail' North Full Battened Main w/ 3 reef points North Storm Jib and Trysail and North Staysail.

The easily accessed Yanmar 4JH-TE 50 HP deisel engine is equipped with a Racor fuel filter and a second Racor filter with manifold/alarm. The direct drive shaft is through a no leak PSS shaft seal driving a 3 blade variabl pitch Max Prop with line cutters. She has a spar 3 blade Autoprop. Engine guages (water temp and oil pressure0 and engine room blower automatic engine shut down engine start/stop at helm. She has an ultraviolet water treatment system with filters hot water heater 5 tank tender guages for fuel and water. An Espar D5L heating system. All thru hull fittings and seacocks are bronze.Safety: She is equipped with 3 automatic bilge pumps and two manual bilge pumps (one down below and one in the cockpit). She has an automatic engine room fire extinguishing system and 4 manual CO2 fire extinguishers.She has an Edson rack & pinion steering system driven manually at the helm and hydraulically at the inside steering station. Both steering locations have full EDson engine controls and instrumentation.Designer comments: 'We gave a lot of consideration to providing good access to engine steering batteries and all other plubing and electrical systems because we feel this is a vital requirement for an easily serviced & hassle free cruising yacht. We also provided space for a 4-5kw generator water maker and air conditioning systems.
